Mother's Day 2009

This weekend was the mother daughter Achievement Day breakfast. It was so fun to spend some time with Mckennah and Cecily. We had a yummy breakfast and then Miss Spanish Fork talked to the girls about what makes us beautiful mothers and daughters inside and outside. She encouraged the girls to be thankful and show appreciation often, to pray and read scriptures daily and to develop their talents! They were basics but so important to be reminded about. It was fun to be with my girls!!!! I love them so much!

We went to April's for dinner on Mother's Day for a barbecue.
Sherrie was so sweet to have a card and a little mother's day
book for all of her daughters and daughter in laws. Everyone
wanted to see their cousins. Garrett didn't get to enjoy the barbecue because
he had a bad day at church! Garrett did not attend the Mother's Day barbecue.
Which meant Aaron didn't get to come either. Oh the joys of motherhood!

Aunt Candi shared a chocolate chip cookie with Blake. Gotta love those Aunties!

Dawson loves to remind me that he is now taller than me. This was his attempt to prove it again. I love this kid! He really is growing up too fast.

I had a very nice Mother's Day! Dawson made me crepes and eggs. I had a delicious breakfast in bed. I read in bed while Aaron took care of Blake and Garrett all morning. Cecily made me a cook book. Garrett made me a hand print poem and Mckennah made me a thank you card and a mother's day dance! I am so blessed. I even got a 2 page hand written letter from Aaron this year!!!!! It was a very nice day. I am glad we have mother's day each year. (:(:(:
