I don't get sick very often but I have had a weird flu bug for the past few days. This morning I still didn't feel so good when I woke up. I was trying to direct the morning from my bed. This was not going very well. My sick and nauseousness turned into sick and angry." Dawson please eat breakfast and brush your teeth. Cecily find an outfit that matches pllllleeeaaase! Mckennah do Cecily's hair. Aaron make breakfast for the kids so they don't starve today." Then I hear from the bathroom in the hall Garrett yelling,"MOOOOOMMMM!!!!" I am not feeling like lifting my head off the pillow! But it sounds like a problem so I roll out of bed and walk into the bathroom to find this! Why does Blakey make me laugh just when I need a good laugh? Does he think, "My mom needs to laugh today.... I think I'll help her!" He sure knows how to tickle my funny bone!


I decided to write these moments down before I forget them.
One morning when Aaron was in China I was in the kitchen doing my thing. I happened to look over into the dinning room to see Blakey pretending to be Aaron. He was talking to himself as if he was on the phone. He had found Aaron's head set in the dinning room cupboard and had put it on. And he was pretending to type! He was moving his chubby little fingers on the table just like Aaron! I sent this picture to his Daddy with note that read "Somebody misses his daddy today!" I grabbed my phone and snapped this (not so great picture) right in the moment. He was sitting in Daddy's chair being Daddy!

Hmmmmmm I wonder why he likes that Daddy so much?????
