Fall 2008!

This week Garrett had his Letter P day at school. Everyone wore their pajamas and ate pizza! I love Garrett's teacher. She is my visiting teacher too. This week she brought by this cute little gift and another bag of baby clothes. She has a 2 year old boy. So she gives me all her old baby clothes and they are way cute. It saves me lots of money. She is such a fun teacher for Garrett. He loves preschool~

This week Cecily decided to play with Blake. I walked outside to find Blake begging me to save him from this form of sister torture. Cecily has a funny bone and thought it would be huge fun to dress him up like a little princess. Even in a princess dress Blake is a definite BOY!!!

The leaves have all turned yellow and red in the canyon so Thursday night we took a family drive and looked at the leaves. We also stopped by my sister in law Candi's haunted house. I have the funnest extended family! My kids are so lucky to live so close to all their cousins!!!

This Friday was the Park and Vilate Romney Family Reunion. They are my great grandparents on my Father's side. It was such a wonderful night! I was able to hear my grandpa Romney's sister and brother talk about some memories. It was so great to see Grandma Romney and talk to her. I also saw Aunts Jackie, Marci and Marcy. Uncle Doug and Rick were the MCs. I loved talking with Colleen and Jenni. Jenni's new little baby girl is so beautiful! Jake and Nicole and Bryce were also there. I really wish I had taken pictures.

Brooke, Merry and I went together. I also took Cecily who actually was more interested then I expected. Cecily and I thought it was so cool that my great, great grandma's name is Cynthia Celestia. There was another Celeste there that night! I guess Cecily is a family name after all! No wonder I liked that name so much!!!!

I loved visiting briefly with my good friend Nicole Sargent! She is also my 2nd cousin! Nicole and I met at college and I immediately liked her. I thought she was such a beautiful person! Then I found out she was dating a former missionary from my mission (Nate Sargent). Nate and my husband Aaron were companions and APs in our Soul West Mission. AP means assistant to the President. They were the best of the best in our mission! It was even more of a surprise to find out that we were cousins! Nate and Nicole set up Aaron and I on our first date! The rest is history! I really love these two amazing people! They hold a special place in my heart! It is funny but we have the same number of children and they are the same sex and same ages! We really need to get together more often. Once a year is not enough! Nicole is expecting soon. After their cute baby gets here we need them to come for dinner!

I also saw my good friend M'Shelle and Sean (Romney)Dixion. Sean was our bishop and M'Shelle is one of the most amazing people you'll ever meet! She gave me all of her preschool supplies when I taught preschool. She is a talented teacher and mother of 5. She is so funny and fun to be with. Aaron and I need to do more with these fun cousins too! We live so close so what is our excuse?

I just started working out at the gym this week. It was a BIG step for me. I went 4 days this week! This week my goal is 5 days! The classes are fun and it feels good to be working on getting back in shape!

The picture of Blake and Cecily made me lol. One of my sisters did something similar to Zane last Easter. She found one of Avery's baby dresses, put it on him, and then put his hair in pony tails.

Great recaps, Betsy. Sorry we couldn't be there - it sounded like a wonderful event. We're excited to see the book!

Blake looks great. Abbie got a good laugh. I had a fun time with you at the reunion. Your fall leaf trip looks fun. I love the fall. I've put pumpkin in everything lately just to make it seem even more like fall. Good for you with all your working out. You inspired me to try to get back on track after 2 months of laziness. thanks!!

I will have to be sure to show you the picture of when Jocie dressed Mason up like a princess. Almost that exact same dress. Then they played kitchen. I will search for that one. Mason would die if he saw it now.
