Dear Mallory and Elise,
We miss you already. Cecily,Mckennah and I keep talking about how much fun we had hanging out with you. We almost forgot to put on our seat belts this morning because Elise wasn't there to remind us. We loved Elise's questions! "What's the speed limit for this area? Are you going kinda fast for this area?" Did you lock the doors? Despite all efforts to keep me safe this week I crashed our car! So sorry Elise. What I love about Elise is that even with all my flaws I am still the one she would choose to hang out with. I even get placed above "safe" Uncle Aaron. I guess fun over rides safe sometimes.
Mallory we loved getting to know you! You are exact about rules. It is refreshing to have someone who knows how to obey laws. Aunt Besty is going to be a little more careful. I am still going to ponder on the holy cow thing. I love your competitve spirit. I like a challange every once in a while. So did I win a few of the days? Hope so!!! If it turns out to be a tie then I guess we will just have to have another cousin swap next year. We will see who is the most fun!!!
One last funny memory was the challenge of getting a smiling picture of Elise! She cracks us up!!!!

I think you and Heather have started such a great tradition. I can't help but think how fun it would have been to have had cousins when I was growing up where I could have had weeks like your kids just did. Both the boys and the girls did some fabulous things together, but the most important thing was that THEY WERE TOGETHER. I have a feeling that it was as fun in the tent at night as it was at the super activity the next day. What a great way for families who live apart to create memories to last forever.
I applaud all the time and energy that went into the Cousin Swap 2008!

I'm going to be hiding these few posts from Emma. She was so sad all week and I felt super bad for her. You guys are great aunt to put these on for everybody!
Everyone missed Emma! We are so excited that we have one more cousin get together to play with her really soon!!!!
