Today I walked outside to pick up the array of toys, bikes, (otter pop rappers and pop cans from Dawson's new business), chairs, baseballs, bats, sticks, shovels, dirty socks, assorted and unmatched flip flops and all sorts of interesting items. I realize in writing this that I was being a bad mom and picking up without dragging the mess makers out to help. In the process of this pick up ritual that I have created as my life, I noticed something that made me giggle! A little happy moment in my day. My kids were being kids and had created a club house in our back yard without me noticing. I shared this funny moment with my friend Alyssa and she encouraged me to blog this so I could preserve the memory. The Club House Oath is the best part!

Ahh, the summer time is so much fun when you were a kid and go do creative things like make a sacred oath for your club house. Ask Cecily if I can join too if I promise to obey the rules.
I certainly hope no one gets "spat in the face!" Who would be doing the spatting????
xoxo
Cecily said I could join if I draw a picture of myself :) I am glad you blogged about this ( so you won't get "spat in the face") Love it! I say go to www.scrapblog.com and make a cute page for that one.
What creative kiddos!! I love all the kids pics.
How fun! I wish I was a kid again.
Who has that lovely handwriting??! That can't be a five year old?
So cute!
I'm so glad that MY daughter isn't the only one that LOVES lipstick and any lipgloss she can get her hands on!!! SOOOOO CUTE!!
That is Mckennah's handwriting. She says Cecily told her to write it. But I think she possibly helped Cecily come up with some of it.
