Oh Let Them Stay Little!

Today I'm thinking of all the cute things Blake does!
About a week ago I turned around in the car and saw his entire chubby little hand in his raisin box. Suddenly it occurred to me that one day that little hand won't fit into his raisin box anymore. I love that cute squishy little hand!
I need to remember all the cute things that he is saying and doing!!! This is my way to remember.
Blake loves to watch Toy Story! I love when we ask him to tell us what each of the characters say:
"Blake, what does Jessie say? " Her says, "Yee Ha!" We tell him, "Good job Blake." He says, "Her not say good job!"
What does Woody say? .....Nake in my boot!!
What does Buzz say? ..... To Finity n beyond!!!
What does Rex say? ......My head!
Who's Grandpa?...... Stinky Pete!One day I was listening to Blake play with his Buzz and other action figures by himself in the family room. I had to laugh to myself when I heard him say, "Hey oo wanna piece of me?I love how Blake will go outside to swim in his little pool in our backyard......and all of the sudden he is skinny dipping!!! Oh I love that stocky, squishy little body! He is either swimming in all his clothes or in nothing at all! I tell him, "Blake we swim in our swim suit!" He angrily responds, "Oh tay mom! Oh tay!"
One day Aaron took the kids to Grandma and Grandpa Scott's while I took a little brake at home. Blake got totally dirty and drenched. On the way home Aaron asked, "Blake what are you going to tell mom about how dirty and wet you got? She isn't going to be very happy." Blake responds, "I not ganna say nufin!" When they walked in the door I said, "Blake what happened?!" Blake shrugged his shoulders innocently and said, "I not know."
One Sunday at church while Blake was in nursery his teacher asked him, "Blake are you poopie?" He responded, "No I farted."

I love how Blake thinks people have to do what he tells them to do, "My mom say so! Her say so!" Then he will sometimes use this tactic, "My Daddy says no!!!" Maybe the best one was when the babysitter told me one night that he kept telling her, "I da boss!" No I don't have to cuz I da boss!"
Blake knows how to work it at bed time! I love how he needs to sleep with his stuffed pug dog Bo Bo! Then he gives me those big brown puppy dog eyes and says, "I wanna nuggle with you mom!" Of course that gets him one more snuggle and song before he has to go to sleep.
If you know Blake you know he loves food!!! One night about 2 AM I wake up to Blake screaming and crying. I run into his room to comfort him. I knew he either had a very bad dream or fell out of bed. I put my had on my little guy to rub and comfort him and ask, "Sweetie what's wrong?" Blake answers through sobs, "He ate my fwies! He ate my fwench fwies!" I try not to laugh and assure him that he just had a bad dream and we can get more fries tomorrow. He sobs a little longer and then says, "o tay we get fwies tomorrow." The next morning when we ask him did someone take your fries last night? He says, "Ya Garrett took my fwies last night!"
About a week ago Blake and his buddy Porter wanted to help me make cookies. Okay they probably really just just wanted to help me eat cookies. I put aprons on them and let them help. I had to grab my camera and laugh when I turned around to Blake gagging on the cocoa that he thought was chocolate! Not so sneaky when your gagging on it!

Blake I love you to pieces! Don't grow up too fast!
