Birthday and Bike Riding at the Lake!

I love summer! For so many reasons! One being my birthday is in the summer!This birthday was one of my favorites! This year was #39!!!!!!!I spent a week celebrating at a cabin in Bear Lake with people I love.It was soooo fun!

Aaron took me out for my favorite breakfast the morning of my birthday before the kids and I left for the cabin. If you have never had Kneaders French Toast you have not lived yet! The syrup is like a thick caramel sauce and the real whip cream and strawberries on the side are a nice topper!!!!

While we were at the cabin one morning I woke up to.....
Heather's Birthday Smoothies! She knows I love them!!!!!

Jessica and Ryan were my personal trainers one morning! They exercised every morning we were at the cabin!!! That is fitness dedication! The kids joined in for a few minutes and then just watched us the rest of the time. I was a little sore the next day.

We tried to go to the caves but the tours were full
(4th of July weekend crowds!) So we took a very short mosquito infested hike.
It was so beautiful but we were being eaten alive!!!!! Even with bug spray on.

The bike ride was fun!
But here is some advice if you ever rent bikes at the KOA in Bear Lake.
Do rent the bikes that have the sun covers! They are a lot of fun to ride!

Do not rent this type of bike that the boys are driving!
It is really slow and hard to go fast on.

Ryan and the girls had the fastest bike!
They might have had an advantage with Ryan's power legs!

Do Buy the Snow cones for the kids after the bike ride!
The volcano snow cones are perfect for the teenage boys in your group!
