My Amazing Friend Leslie

I have a friend who I just love and who is an inspiration to me! Her name is Leslie. This December Leslie's husband Jim unexpectedly passed away.

Jim was a man who you couldn't help but love. He was a BIG man with an even bigger heart. He was a lot of fun. I know his three darling children loved him but so did many youth in our ward. He always helped our girls at camp! He just had a way of being there for the youth when they needed a listening ear or a friend. Jim was a good friend!

But this is a post about my sweet friend Leslie. The woman that Jim loved. And it is not hard to figure out why he loved her so much. Leslie is one of the most selfless people I know. She continues to put a smile on her face everyday and take care of her family! She is AMAZING! And as if that were not enough she continues to prepare and teach a very large group of 12 to 13 year old girls every Sunday. She puts her whole heart into their lessons. She goes the extra mile with treats and hand outs that are always perfect! She loves these girls and they love her! What a great example she is to me.

One more thing I love about this friend of mine is how very talented she is. This week I dropped by to ask if she would help me with the centerpieces for our New Beginnings at church. This is what she was busy making!!! I think she made all of these darling crafts this week! I think she needs to open up her own little boutique!........
