This week we went to Salt Lake on Saturday to see the temple lights. We ate dinner at the Spaghetti Factory with Grandma and Grandpa Scott, lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. I enjoyed the dinner but Blakey did not let Aaron enjoy the dinner. My camera was not working because Blake has messed with it some how. It now won't take night shots. Blake also broke the DVD player (AGAIN) this week, he lost the cover to Aaron's computer mouse, he might have broke the microwave. ~ He is that TERRIFIC TWO!!!!! TERROR...IFIC?
Garrett had a elf party at school today!!! He and his elf friends were sooo cute! I loved all the elf food. We brought elf ice cream cones. They were made from bugle chips and cheese whiz! The eggs and bacon are pretzels and chocolate. The hamburgers are vanilla wafers and chocolate!

I am having a mid life "transformation." Or maybe I am enjoying my Young Women's calling just a little too much! I guess that I am really relating with my girls! I got braces this week. Luckily they will only be on for 4 to 6 months. They are painful. There is a hidden bonus in getting braces. You can't eat as much because it hurts to eat! Weight loss is just a little perk to this whole experience.

I decorated a gingerbread house with my kids tonight for FHE.
I am enjoying Christmas this year more than I ever have before. I think I am learning to embrace the imperfect in my life. I am enjoying my kids and hubby and letting go of how perfect it all looks! I love my YW calling because it has helped me focus more on service and the true meaning of Christmas! I am so blessed to be surrounded by young women and YW leaders who are great examples of being disciples of Jesus Christ.

You are such a fun mom! Blake is still my favorite even though he is in his terrible two's.
Loved this post and can feel how you really are letting go of some of the perfect and chaotic. (Sorry, I'm pretty sure you inherited both. :( ) Oh, and Blakey, look at it this way - someday he will be 14. 2's not so bad.
xoxoxo
You look very young, skinny and hip even with your braces. Looks like there's lots to be enjoying this Christmas. I'm glad your soaking it all up.
How fun!! I am glad you are enjoying your calling.
I had no idea about the braces. I've thought about them, but I'm too chicken. THe weight loss thing makes it even more interesting!
Oh, and you need to hand over some Christmas secrets. This one hasn't been too fun for me. Bah humbug.
Braces? Your teeth ALWAYS looked gorgeous to me! Wha? I bet your young women LOVE YOU! I miss you. Next month, get together for SURE! Merry Merry to all of you!
Elf Party- What a fun idea!!
Braces- I also always thought your teach were perfect.
YW- I'm in YW too, I think they do rub off on you. It's a good thing because we often need a boost of that youthful energy!!!
