Heather has been my sister for 36 years! OOOppps! Did I give away her age? He he he. We shared a room for about 16 of those years and so I think I know Heather pretty well. She was and is spunky and smart. Sometimes I might use the word smartalic. But she is always someone I can trust. I trust her with my biggest and deepest secrets! Heather is a loyal friend.

Heather has great taste in clothes and growing up I was always "borrowing" them. She might tell you that I "stole" them. In my defence I always intended to return them.

Seriously Heather is someone that I not only love because she is my sister but she is someone I admire. She does not like the spotlight and so I don't know how she will feel about this little tribute. But sometimes that's what sisters are for.....to embarrass us just a little.

Heather is someone who has everything she wants because she wants everything she has! She is rich in every aspect of the word! Her life is so rich and full! She fills her time and space with things of importance and worth. She values people and relationships. She has the means to have pretty much anything her heart desires and she desires things of eternal worth. She values things that last. Her heart is set on eternal treasures.

I envy Heather's healthy habits! This is probably because I wish I was more healthy. But she is such an example to me of being healthy. She loves to exercise and she is a great cook. She loves to make meals for large groups of people and does it so easily without fan fair.

Heather is always learning something new! She reads all sorts of books! The best thing about Heather is when she reads something she doesn't just read about it she applies it! She is always trying some new idea out with her family! One month it's no television another month it is healthy eating and exercise and then there is the no spending money month! (This is including gas, doctors appointments or food!!!) Heather is always the friend I call when I need parenting or health tips. I love how much I learn from my little sister.

Heather thanks for being you! You remind me that we are here on this planet to grow and progress and to "...lay hold upon every good gift, and touch not the evil gift!" (Moroni 10:7)You have been an example of using your gifts to bless the lives of many! I am thankful for the gift I have been given to have you as my sister and one of my best friends!

Happy Birthday too you! I look forward to watching what you will do with this new year.
