I had a very fun #38! Aaron spoiled me this year and took me to the best get away ever! It was so relaxing and peaceful.
We stayed at the Stein Erickson Lodge. http://www.steinlodge.com/lodge/ The rooms have jetted tubs, decks with hot tubs and fireplaces . The very best part was that my sweet sister Merry watched Blake so we were all alone for a full 24 hours! The lodge is completely surrounded by nature! It sits at the foot of a ski resort and in the summer you can watch all the mountain bikers taking the tram up the mountain to bike down. They have a fun spa too. It was amazing!!! Aaron is to best hubby ever!!! We went birthday shopping at the outlets and ate lunch at Historic Park City Main Street. I didn't take very many pictures. Kind of forgot. But here is us at lunch.

Friday morning before Aaron and I left for our get away I took the kids to the Lavender Festival in Nephi. We went with Brooke, Merry, my good friend Jenifer and their kiddies. It was fun but next year I am going to take a cooler. If you go pack lunches and at least 3 water bottles for each person! The festival has all kinds of things for kids to do. Including a medieval village with real jousting matches! We didn't really have enough time to do everything because I had to leave by 12:30. It would have been better to stay until about 3:00. I think if you go with kids you also skip the distillery tour. But make sure to make time to see the western cowboy show and the jousting matches. The festival had a reptile show and a petting farm we missed also due to time. It was fun to be with everyone and play!
