California At Grandpa's and Grandma's Rocked!
This is how Mommy felt before the Vacation!
Grandma and pa Nut spoiled all of us! Each of us had a favorite part of the vacation. Mine was the no cooking or cleaning for an entire week! That was all the RECREATION I needed!

The Best Part For ALL Of Us Was Spending Time With Grandpa and Grandma!

Garrett thought Grandpa's Hat was really Cool! One morning when Grandpa was upstairs Garrett put it on. We informed him that even though Grandpa's hat was really cool NO ONE is allowed to touch Grandpa's special hat! (ha ha )
What Was the Most Special Part of this Vacation?
We Love, Love, Love Our Grandma Nut!!!!!
We had fun in the pool! It never got hotter then about 85 degrees but the kids loved the pool!!! They swam almost every day for a few hours!
The first day they swam it was mid 70's.

Garrett Loves Trains!!!!!! We met an engineer!
This was a china set in the dinning car. There were a whole bunch of fun sets to look at.
We enjoyed Lots of different trains!

Garrett's day couldn't have been more perfect! Because as we were leaving there right in front of the museum was a real fire truck with real fire fighters in it. Garrett's three favorite things are trains, fire trucks and motor cycles. Garrett runs over to the truck and tells the fire fighter that he is going to be a fire fighter when he grows up! This made the fireman so happy that he invited Garrett to jump in the fire truck! The fire fighters laughed about how their fire truck was better then the trains! Notice also that Garrett found a motor cycle in one of the shops to buy! Yes it was Garrett's perfect day!
We had a fun time shopping, walking and eating our way around Old Town Sacramento!

We stopped by Mommy's and Daddy's Oakland Temple! Before getting back on the plane to go home we enjoyed the beautiful Oakland temple!It was such a perfect sunny day! The kids ate lunch and walked around the grounds.

With that said, I want to apologize for not knowing how to do a slide show of pictures. I tend to get camera happy on any kind of fun outing! This could almost be a video because there are so many pictures. One day you will thank me for being the family historian of all your childhood memories I tell you! Now SMILE!!!
Some of the things we did on this trip could have easily been enjoyed anywhere but EVERYTHING is more fun when your at Grandma and pa Nut's house!

Grandpa took us to Chilli's for the Birthday dinner! Then we came home and had birthday cheese cake and sang Happy Birthday! (Ryan was on the phone for the song!)
